I noticed today as I was reading something I've read before and able to
absorb and understand more of it this time, that this inner process is exactly
like the outer process of cohobation - you make a solution, distill off the solvent
leaving the salts, then you place the solvent back on the salts again and this time
it is able to dissolve a little more salt than the last time; the process is
repeated untill all the salt is carried over by the solvent.

This also shows why salt is likened unto wisdom.

That happens to me all the time.
Today i discovered the true meaning of the phrase "Woman's work and child's play" and to my surprise it has nothing to do with "easiness" of the work.
What was the "Woman's work" in medieval times? It was to clean, wash, purify, cook,to bear, nurture and care for "the child" until the child is grown and "perfected".So you see what's the problem with the modern alchemist's, we simply think differently.
