I've reached my analyzation part of my project, so i have to find some good sources, which I can quote. I then have to analyze and critizice these quotes. This is the history part of my project (my project is part chemistry, part history). I'd like some about the methods of the alchemists, Roger Bacon's process of making gunpowder and the conflicts between the alchemists and the catholic church

It would be a great help if you could add a comment to the quote/source too, because im not English, so i might not understand it all, or i might miss out some important parts :)

I haven't been able to find any in my own language (Danish), even though i have a bunch of books, and i have been looking a lot on the internet.

Danish, ey? I can speak/read Danish having lived in the pretty esoteric city of Copenhagen. Your English doesn't come across as bad, I think you master it more than you think. You can always google words you don't understand.

Ole Borch (http://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oluf_Borch) (in Danish)

Emanuel Swedenborg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emanuel_Swedenborg) (in English, but written books in Swedish... that I am sure you can read).

We can't do your homework for you. You just got to read and study... that is the only way. There is a good second-hand bookshop on Studiestręde in Copenhagen that has a section of occult books. If you are lucky you might find some alchemical ones (in Danish even).

But if you really want to study alchemy you got to improve three languages: English, French or German (in my opinion). All the great works are in these languages. Also Greek of course...

...and the conflicts between the alchemists and the catholic church.

We are talking about that in the thread you created: European alchemists vs the christian church (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/showthread.php?t=1176)
