Hi Salazius

I can not decypher your image but I did notice
it contains the number 33 (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/showthread.php?t=1195) and Solomon Levi
did a thread on this.

It could be a personal sigil of the authors for this work,
or maybe it holds some secrets. I'll have to look into the sigils.

Haven't come up with anything for ARE.
The next characters appear to be greek letters at first, but
on closer inspection, the "B" is inaccurate and the sigma is backwards
and underlined. The psi glyph, I think, is alchemically used for calx.

Then we have a couple "X"s = 20 ?

Sigils ??

Jupiter, mercury, 34 ?? Astrological significance??

jn bel ??? opopas? gropas? gr = great; opas = work ???

I'll have to let this digest and see if something comes to me. :)

The kind of X can be seen under number 10, or letter Aleph, or under alchemical significance = distillation vessel.
The "3" can show an alembic. Or 3 number.
The neptune like symbol can show a "calx" of metal (oxyde, or any kind of calx).

Check Clavis Salomonis and similar grimoires.

Yes Horticult you are true, some angelical sigils are writen with similar things.

The square trident figure on its side is often used to symbolise ashes or cinders.

The first sigil that looks like a "2" is sometimes used to represent autumn
or perhaps "harvest".
It's also used to rep "fire"

The two Xs mean "coagulate".
Also, two Xs can mean "crystal" as can the sideways pitchfork sigil at the bottom.

The second sigil appears to have venus as a basis with some swastika-like glyph added to it.

Still working...

Sol' you seems to have a different code to decypher symbols, it is great :)

I'm using this text mainly:

At the bottom of this page
http://www.esotericarchives.com/agrippa/agripp1d.htm#chap69

Agrippa attributes the X to fire and the psi (trident-like symbol) to spirit.

No the translation seems ok, but of course, if you can read it into latin it's better :)
