I have a beginners question.
What are your favorite books/resources for learning Astrology?
Many thanks,

Hi Robin Grey
I do not know if you have already tried this but
in the forum Astrologia go to the bottom left and
there you will find some Display Options.
Go to the menu that says "from the" click on the
arrow and change the option to "Beginning" then
below this click on "show threads" this will bring
up all the previous threads in this section.
Sorry I can not be of more help.

Hello Mr. Grey,
You can start here (http://www.google.com/search?q=astrology+for+beginners&rls=com.microsoft:en-us&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&startIndex=&startPage=1) and use your intuition to chose what may work best for you.
If you wish, you can also PM me your email adress and I'll send you a few beginner's courses on Astrology.
Further down the road, I recommend the books of Liz Greene. Her approach to Astrology is very Jungian/Archetypal.
Another author whom I highly recommend is Robert Hand.
Good luck with your studies!

You can get the basics from most practical alchemy books.
John Reid's course:

Here's the bit from Manly P. Hall's "Secret Teachings of all Ages":
http://www.sacred-texts.com/eso/sta/sta37.htm
Then here is a program that shows the live solar system - just click on
the city nearest you:

Here is a site with Ephemeris:

Basically any astrology book will teach you to make a horoscope.
Some people don't work without one.
Hope that helps.
