Nothing secretes Something, just like Zero secretes One.

"The things of the World are born from Being, and Being is born of Nothing."

The Infinite Need of the Void to feed itself :)

"The Dao is empty, yet you may keep drawing from it as though it could never fill your need."

The Alchemical angle:

"There is a thing formed from confusion and born before Heaven and Earth.
Silent, solitary, alone and unchanging. It revolves everywhere and is never in danger.
It can be the Mother of all under Heaven. I do not know its name, but I style it The Dao."

And finally, the 'Math' aspect:

"The Dao gives birth to One; One gives birth to Two; Two gives birth to Three; Three gives birth to the Ten Thousand Things of the World."

If 0 is a number then nothing must be an amount of something.

If 0 is a number then nothing must be an amount of something.

Modern culture has imprisoned 'numbers' in their Quantitative values.

They are SO much more than that.

Their Qualities are long gone... (for most)

But Nothing innately secretes Something, nevertheless...

And their interplay secretes everything else :)

Quoth The Prisoner (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29JewlGsYxs): "I am not a number ! ! !"
