hi,
that would be the amazing Cosmopolite!!! (despite biographical identification of Cosmopolite, Andrč Sethon and/or Sendivogius seems quite controversal)
the links on Adam Mc Lean's site, sadly lack the tratise on salt that you where looking for. This tratise is the third of a serie (the other two being one on merkur and one on sulphur), that are found in the New Chemical Light, but only in certain editions. the tratise on salt can be found in "Nouvelle Lumiere Chimique" d'Houry 1691/1699, re-edited by Retz Editeur 1976, and also in latin inside "Lucerna Salis Philosophorum" Amstelodami 1658. I don't know if it has been translated in english.

with humility
