Having heard an interview with James Cameron on Avatar he mentions the phrase techno indigenous.

It is true that human beings need to return to nature, but it is also true that it will be highly improbable that we all get undressed and move out into the woods. Still there needs to be a return of some sort.

Technology is so new that it has not yet settled, and when it does perhaps it should be settled with nature (instead of on top of it).

I definitely feel the internet is part of evolution.
Though still a crutch, it brings us closer, shows our connectedness,
makes sharing and communicating more possible, puts knowledge right at hand,
makes things more instantaneous...
all things that happen when we open or access our subconscious.
Like most anything, it can be used for "bad" or "good", can be a conscious tool or
an unconscious habit/addiction.
In that sense, nothing has changed: new face of technology, but same choice as always.
Pythagorean "Y".
Funny how things are always changing and always the same.
We can fight each other with clubs or missiles - same fight (consciousness).
We can carve a heart out of a piece of wood or give a girl a Ferrari - same courtship consciousness...

I'm fascinated right now by how nothing changes.
On the surface, things appear to be in constant change;
but underneath, it is the same "thing" donning different masks/persona.

I fear this is the reason it may get censored in the near future, at least in the U.S.

Yeah, this is a fear of mine also. If this comes to pass I will lose what little faith I had in humanity. Bah!

Buddha wasn't a misanthropist fortunately (unfortunately for me).
