View Full Version : What should A.F. be?

This is a Phoenix-thread (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/showthread.php?t=7) from the old site (http://alchemy-forums.forumotion.com/forum.htm).

There is no real alchemy forum out there on the Internet... apart from this one, and because of this fact I think there is a great opportunity to create something great here. But I want to put this question out to all members:

What should this place be?

What is there not enough of?

What is there too much of?

Let's get a debate going...

I think it can benefit the forum!

What should this place be?
Alchemy Forums should be a place where knowledge can be exchanged freely - without fear or ridicule. We should uphold the highest ethics and values of our former alchemical masters. In this way we gain fellowship and belonging. We become intimately connected with each other through this bond. This connection helps breed love for our art, and love of our fellow man.

This is not a place where ego's can run wild, but rather we must temper our ego's very carefully. Aye, not a spotlight in the night, but rather a small ever burning lamp.

What is there not enough of?
I think the only main issue is the lack of discussion. Things have picked up lately, but with this move we've lost all our momentum. I can't wait for discussion to become normal again (hopefully after we finish the move).

What is there too much of?
I don't think there's too much of any one thing yet. We've achieved a nice balance. Maybe some of our other members can point out a few things.
