It's an interesting word with many correlations.
One which isn't often noticed is that aurum relates to sound and hearing.
And it's of interest to note that many who take m-state gold hear a sound,
the ringing or buzzing of their meisner fields or aura. (Aura, aurum...)

I don't know.
I know that it spins faster.
My guess would be yes.

I've noticed correlations between aurum, our (as in "our gold") and ore.
And then there's the suggestion to "ora" - pray.

Maybe this is pointing to ores as containing the seed of metals.
