I especially like the photo that displays the glowing axis point of the dry-path regulus. I also really enjoyed the antimony melt pictures, they're quite entrancing.

Antimony is a fascinating matter to work with, both from a lab perspective and from a spiritual standpoint, in the sense that it has some 'initiatory' effects when physically working with it.

I am truly in love with your gallery. It's fantastic. It makes me proud to host it at the web of the Salon Arcano (which I still have to improve a lot by adding more things).
I am really looking forward to printing the chosen photos for the real exhibition. I think they will really look great printed in A3 paper.

Markos was my first victim. from this forum (I didn't send the link to his gallery myself, because he's also here)... anway, it won't be hard to find if you click on the "Cine y Fotografia" tag on the left. :p
His gallery is also fantastic... and also very inspiring.

The following victim was Salazius... whose gallery, in less than 24 hors has already been "shared" on facebook by 30 persons (this is what my web counter says)... and, I think that's a record for the Salon Arcano. Then again, if anyone doesn't love his photos, it means that this person is either blind or dead... I can't imagine someone who doesn't love them in some way or other.

The third victim will be Mr. Nibiru (as soon as I have the time).

The "real exhibition" will be fantastic because it gathers a lot of different people bringing images and words related to alchemy from a lot of different perspectives... and the interesting point is that there is a very nice harmony and interaction between all the photos... like a lot of points of view about the very same thing.
I will be making an "English version" of the gallery of all the photos that were submited for this exhibition.

I love the works by Fucanelli... and I love how Canseliet continued his work, specially how they both started to make (or explain) the connections between alchemy and art a bit more obvious. Specially Canseliet, who somehow dared to be a bit more "playful" and embrace/include works that most people had not related before to the sacred sciences.
So I really love that meeting point between the Alchemy and the other Arts. I like that dialogue and I feel it deserves to be investigated by far more.


Also... if these galleries have taught you that you have something of yours that you want to share in a similar way, please don't be shy to contact me.
The rules of the Salon Arcano are very easy: 1) your works belong to you, 2) if at any given point you want them removed from the web, I will remove them, 3) you have the right to sell your works in any way you prefer. 4) the 100% of the money you make with your works goes to you. 5) there are no hidden tricks here, we're just doing it because we love doing it. 6) that's all.

EDIT: and if anyone has written essays about Alchemy AND Art, then I would love to translate them to Spanish and host them at this same web.
(An essay about Alchemy can be very nice, but that's not what we need for this specific web.... what we need is essays that mostly relate alchemy to the works of an artist or the creative process of art)
So far we have:
-An essay about Hermeticism and Masks
-An essay about Hyronimous Bosch and Alchemical symbolism.
-An essay about Henri Bergson, Qabalah and the Creative Process of Art.
-An essay about Marcel Duchamp and Rosicrucian symbolism.
-An essay about Piero Manzoni and alchemy
-An essay about Joseph Beuys and Alchemy
-An essay about the alchemical meaning of the myth of the minotaur

(I am simply mentioning these subjects as examples of what we are looking for).

I'm just very happy and pleased, flattered, by all the positive reactions about my photographies.

This morning, I delved into my photographies archives.
Several thousand photographies to look at. I finally choosed approx 210 photographies, but I have to remove some of them. They are all of the same type than what I've send to Salon Arcano.

I had the idea to contact some houses of editions that could maybe, make an edition of my work.
Do you have any idea ? Suggestions are welcome !

You have a Great Work (LOL, no pun intended) and it's worth publishing it.

You have different options, but you have to think about what you wanna publish and how.
i.e, is it going to be a book of photographs for photographers?
Is it going to be a book mostly for people who practices alchemy?
How important is the text going to be and how important are the photos going to be?
Is it going to be about an artistic view of alchemy or is it going to be more or less "illustrated lessons to alchemy"?
Again, you have to ask yourself these questions and answer them.

It is possible to create several very different books with what you have, even books that belong to very different genres... maybe it's a good idea if you think what is the book that you wanna publish... and then finding a publisher for that book.

Finding a publisher is easier, making the book is the hard part.

As for publishers, I assume that depending on WHAT you wanna publish, you have different options.

Do you know http://www.lulu.com/ ?
It is free to publish there (even though they offer "premium services", but the basics are free).
Their service is quite simple: they print each book after it gets bought by someone. It is a "print-by-request" service... so the amount of books they will publish is exactly the same amount of books that get sold.
That's a nice option with a few bad sides (mostly that they won't really be promoting your book.... that stuff is mostly up to you, nor your book will be available in "non virtual" bookstores).
Good thing is that you don't have to persuade them to publish you... it's just about signing up.

On the other had, if you want a more traditional publisher. One of the best things that happened to me in my life is to get something published by Fulgur Limited: http://www.fulgur.co.uk/
The owners of Fulgur are the kidest people you will find (they are in the U.K)... people who published because they love to and not because of the money.
I don't think that what you have would fit into what they are interested in publishing (after all, they are mostly interested in Austin Osman Spare and books that in a way or other continue the legacy of Austin Spare).... once you have a book, if you are looking for a publisher, then you may consider contacting my Fulgur friends and ask them for help, mostly if they know which publisher is more likely to be interested in your book (I bet they will know, since they are very much in touch with the "publisher's scene").

Also, once you have a book.... and I mean a .pdf with what you want to publish, don't forget getting in touch with your friend from Argentina... he may be interested in publishing a Spanish version! :)

(To be honest, I find it VERY interesting, I still have to see what you have in mind, because if it's a book with 200 photos, then it may be quite impossible for me to do it here.... due to the cost of publishing so many color illustrations/photos... but if it's something reasonable -as in po$$ible for me-, then I may have the chance to do it).
