let me start by saying i am quite new to all of this. my question is in regards to fermentation of plant matter. i have distilled over some sulfer and then would like to ferment what remains. i have begun the fermentation process, the problem is that there is not enough liquid in the mix to fully submerge the plant matter. some remains above the liquid and in fact this portion has begun to see what appears to be mold (looks like its getting hairy) or hopefully it is simply 'ferment'.
so, can anyone inform me as to whether this fermentation process is still viable?
