Hey all,
I was curious to know if anyone has ever used Hibiscus to make elixirs. I think that it is a very interesting plant and I would like to know whats its use in the alchemical world. Has anyone ever read anything about the flower, whats parts of it are good to work with them. Someone enlighten me about this fascinating flower and its use in the alchemical work, ty.

Hibiscus is a genus of flowering plants in the mallow family, Malvaceae. (wikiped.)

I use dried Hibiscus rosa-sinensis petals as tea (You can buy it cheap in great quantities in Turkish shops here), and also used it in a flawored pálinka (traditional hungarian spirit) I made. It has a very interesting taste, and as far as I can tell, it is rich in life force.

It is used for a number of things in Chinese medicine.
