How far are people willing to go if they are not satisfied with keeping the status quo?

An event called Operation Jubilee is being planned to take place in Parliament Square, London, November 5, 2012.

From the above linked video:

"If it isn't in the bible, it is not a law"

Old Testament? New Testament? Both? (They can contradict at times)

Why not the Qur'an? Or some Wiccan/Druid/Pagan/Hindu/etc law?

Referencing the bible as 'law' seems a bit off IMO, especially since it is presented as 'bible law' vs. 'man-made law'....

Doesn't the bible also have laws that regulate slave handling?

Or something that Set-Ra recently posted (from the new testament) about honoring the emperor and submitting to every human authority?

Submit to every human authority because of the Lord, whether to the Emperor as the supreme authority or to governors as those sent out by him to punish those who do what is evil and to praise those who do what is good.
Don't get me wrong, I like the police just as much as the next chap... Just wondering about this presentation and the question marks it raises...

Eager to see pictures of police arrested with their own handcuffs. That'll be the day.

Will you be attending?

"If it isn't in the bible, it is not a law"

lol I picked up on exactly the same bit Androgynous. It made me wonder if it was from Anonymous at all,
or some bible bashing fanatics, but then can we be sure they are wrong? Have we read everything that lays
between the lines of this book? Perhaps they were using the statement to show that laws can be written and
interpreted in many ways...not just by a group of jumped up elitists with hidden agendas.

I guess that is the drawback of being an anonymous organisation...other people are going to jump on the
bandwagon, it's to be expected.

I think I may attend just for the hell of it.

I hope it remains organised as in these situations those protesting can be made to look like the bad guys.

Perhaps a more interesting campaign may be Project Mayhem...

How will this be orchestrated

Now just imagine for a moment...

Excellent essay:

Law and Authority (https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/petr-kropotkin-law-and-authority) by famed anarchist Pėtr Kropotkin.
