My friend moderator solomon levi (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/member.php?26-solomon-levi) has been taking care of the forums for I don't know how many years, but he will take a break for the time being. So I want to thank solomon levi (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/member.php?26-solomon-levi) for his years of service, and who knows you might see him step into those shoes again when he feels it is appropriate for him to do so. In the meantime I am sure we will see more of his insightful posts as they form in his mind. Thank you!

We have hired another person that has been here at the forums for quite some time: theFool (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/member.php?50-theFool)

I'll let him introduce himself if he feels so inclined.

Welcome to the team!

Thank you dev and Androgynus for trusting me the "power" to moderate posts and threads. In my life I usually shy away from a position of visible power; I will need some time to get familiar with the word "moderator" under my nick :p

Usually I work behind the scenes for the benefit of the community. I hope to be able to serve this forum the best way and help you with the moderating work you have been doing all those years for us, the members.

I remember when first joining here, when it was still new with few posts. I felt that there are people who try honestly and genuinely to approach alchemy. I wanted to be a part of them. To join my efforts with yours in approaching this hidden but splendid art. For that reason, I will feel moslty like a servant of the forum, rather than a moderator.

May the longevity of the forum continue and may also the forum help with the longevity of its members :)

Welcome to the team!

Thanks for the welcoming, I wish our new year to be fruitful, yielding discoveries and revelations for our members!

Congratulations theFool! You deserve it. I'm quite certain you'll do a fine job, keep things interesting. Plus, you have background in labwork so that's a blessing.

I don't feel like it is a big deal but I hope it will give me some more incentive, motivation and an opportunity to 'promote' more efficiently the "labora" aspect of alchemy through the forum :)
