Worth researching IMO.

I don't have the background or training to discern the hype/efficiency ratio, but I thought others could possibly benefit from this...

Here are three introductory videos:

In southern asia there is a food called "balut" which consists of a duck or hen embryo eaten raw when it is still in the egg. It is suppossed to have energetic and aphrodisiac effects. There are attempts to explain the effect by the existence of 'youth' hormones in the young organism, or by the existence of stem cells. Similar ideas are behind the deer placenta (http://www.dragonherbs.com/prodinfo.asp?number=516) supplements or the wheatgrass juices (very young plant).

From the alchemical viewpoint those foods contain a lot of life force (or Jing as taoists call it), concentrated in the smallest amount of flesh. Thus, their digestion is very efficient for the organism who consumes it.

One more link: Is 'balut' a stem cell enhancer? (http://www.pchrd.dost.gov.ph/index.php/2012-05-23-07-46-36/2012-05-24-00-03-06/5301-is-balut-a-stem-cell-enhancer) connecting Laminine and its origin from balut.

I doubt the effects of Laminine can be attributed solely to some protein. It depends on how well the embryonic tissue is extracted. A proper extraction probably contains substances unknown yet to science.

Indeed.

I concur.

See bold in first quote :)

Generally speaking, I would say that the 'younger' the food and the closer to the time of 'picking' it is consumed, it contains more of IT.

We loose more and more of our HR as we age...

I think there is a major misunderstanding about what genuine Alchemical 'extractions' really are.

They are not merely 'extractions', they are ACTIVATIONS that 'potentize' and 'renew' the 'extracted' matter with the HR/FR of the Alchemical 'Solvent'. But I digress...
