Christopher (& Jonathan) Nolan doesn't disappoint. There were some sequences in this movie that sent shivers up my spine because they strongly related to my own ayahuasca experiences.

Nothing I can put into words... but this film, for me, is much deeper than perhaps even the film makers themselves realize.

This one has to be seen in the cinema for sure!

Ghislain: not as crazy as the "real" hallway... but there is a kind of hallway towards the end that eventually goes into the "open" blissful space... ;)

Saw the film tonight...might be some spoilers below so don't read if you intend to see the film.

A few complaints:

the music and sound effects were louder than the voices and so I missed a bit of the dialogue,

it was a bit slow to start,

@ 169 mins was a bit long,

left a lot of unanswered questions, especially the gravity stuff, they could have replaced that with tomato ketchup for all the explanation they gave about it.

but after all that it was a good film worth watching.

I found the circular plot a bit difficult to get my head around, but I guess if time is irrelevant then it would be the norm.

If only our hallway was so short lived Dev ;)

I'd give it 4 stars :)

Yes that maybe the case...did you find the background sound smothering the dialogue or am I going a little deaf?

I found the film online and the sound was really bad, but the cinema wasn't much better. I'm sure I missed something, but then I didn't get Inception either.

Both films seem to suggest a circularity of time IMO, maybe I need to give that some more thought.

No the sound was fine for me. Everything was crystal clear for me... yes it was loud, but good. Maybe the cinema you went too had bad speakers? Or maybe this (http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/d2/38/ca/d238ca3df765fd751a8d79bd4454f3de.jpg) ;)

It goes back to my opinion that what is the beginning is the end, and what is God is you etc...

I saw the film yesterday and some points are not especially clear for me.
The question of wormhole and blackhole ... they seems to be the same thing for them as entry gate and exit gate in dimensions ?

It's a good film ... but I must admit that I'm a bit disappointed, I saw "Fury" before and it lacks in intensity and "pressure" IMO (concerning Interstellar).
I loved the music by the way. To me, too much "chapters" that cut the story in small parts.

I didn't saw the three hours of the film passing by so I guess I was in it. Good watch nonetheless.

Cool video.

Well each to their own taste... I think Fury was boring. I don't care about soldiers or patriotism... in fact the most annoying thing with Interstellar was the American flag on one of the planets.

The scientific details of Interstellar is irrelevant, it's a movie and the interesting thing, for me, are the philosophical consequences of interstellar travel, time and dimensions. Some of it probably more true than we realize.
