Control + Z is the widely used keyboard shortcut for UNDO.

I prefer to enunciate it as Ctrl. Z(en)

I've created this thread for everyone who's interested to post their own original Zen Koans (http://www.google.com/search?q=zen+koan).

One Koan per post please, so we get more and less con-fused.

You're also welcome to use this thread to discuss the 'Burning of Causality', if so inclined...
------------------------------------------

Edit: I expect (see post below (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/showthread.php?4299-Zen-amp-The-Art-of-Burning-Causality&p=37172#post37172)) the Kōans will get better and better in time (see post after the post below (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/showthread.php?4299-Zen-amp-The-Art-of-Burning-Causality&p=37173#post37173))

:)

From the UN-expected arises what was always expected.

The time it takes to get from one point to another is just as pointless as one point or another.

What sound makes consciousness ?

You have to believe to be able to see what you cannot believe.

We were parted eons ago, yet we have not been separated even for a moment. We are facing each other all day long, yet we have never met.

What is the difference between this?

Does consciousness can get old ?

The illusion is real!

Except for the spoon :)

The illusion is real!

Nothing is real, and so is everything else :)

Where am I and what time is it?

(repeat ad nauseam :))

There is no need of time to get rid of it, yet, it takes time to find it.

"IT is what IT isn't"

A friend and I were recently having a philosophical discussion when she asked the question, "what exactly is The Truth?". The question actually stumped me and I had to think for a bit before I could respond. The only thing I could think to answer with was this, "You know I'm not really sure what Truth is, it would probably be easier for me to tell you what it isn't."

The illusion is real!

Nothing is real, and so is everything else :)

"Everything's possible because 'Nothing' is real"
-or-
"If Everything's real, Nothing's impossible"

(I realize that I already posted the first one in another thread, I just wanted to join the conversation with you guys here :) )

"what exactly is The Truth?"

The Truth is that all truths are lies.

Thus all lies are a truth.

If you are not happy when your mother-in-law visits you, you will be all the happier when she leaves.

If you are not happy when your mother-in-law visits you, you will be all the happier when she leaves.

Rather than burning causality (with all the accompanying duality, polarity, pendulum law, etc), I'd say this phrase is reinforcing it...

Increasing a positive by it's lower polarity... No, that's not burning causality :)

Okay, I admit that my last one went OT. :)

Although you can't go wrong, be careful not to loose your way.

Good one ! ! !

It's my right to be wrong, especially when I'm right always.
