The first video shows the difficulties in the concept of Evolution arguing the case for Creationism or, more commonly called today, Intelligent Design. All the information after this offers some possible answers to the questions of these difficulties. These are all interesting viewpoints; I hope it answers some questions.

Diffuculties:

Creation of Flagellum in Bacterium
Creation of DNA encoding.
Information.

There is a scientific explanation to the evolution of flagellum in bacteria ( http://www.talkdesign.org/faqs/flagellum.html), but it is a very long and complicated read; it would take some time just to read the bibliography of this article. Below is a video that gives a simplified version of this article. If you are interested in the subject matter then be sure to follow all the links in the video.

As with the article above there are articles on the origin and evolution of DNA and DNA replication machineries ( http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK6360/), but again these articles are very long and complicated reads. Another complication arises here as the video explanations for this are also long and complicated. I have looked for the simplest I could find.

Our molecules of life (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvJFI3ChOUU) – DNA - shows we are all the same; we evolved from common ancestry; and that is every bit of organic life.

When talking of the origin of life we are not talking about evolution at this point, evolution starts after the first life is created. The word we are looking for here is Abiogenesis ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiogenesis), the natural process of life arising from non-living matter, such as simple organic compounds. There are many theories as to what may have happened, some of which is explained in the video below.

IMO Inteligent Design theorists are somewhat lazy, they base their beliefs on anything science has not yet explained, but they are gradually being pushed into a corner as science progresses and makes new discoveries to back up its theories.

Note: of all the material in the world only one freak occurrence was needed to spark off evolution!

If there is a creator the billions of years we see as ages may be a blink of an eye to it.

What I think is happening is that creationists and evolutionists are both right, but don’t have all the facts that would show this right now.

The bible tells us that God created man from dirt, but that dirt had to have some quite particular elements within it that then began a long process to produce what we see today. Was that Intelligent Design or a happy accident?

Time will tell.

The link below is to a site that shows numerous carbon datings of dinosaur fossils that show them to be thousands and not millions of years old.

For me there is a difference between Evolution, Creation and Intelligen Design.

Surprisingly I vote for Creation!

But that does not mean I agree with Creationists... they are correct, they are just incorrect in their presentation of creation. ;)

I so agree with you. Listen to this conversation between Bob Dutko - Theist and the guy in the video above Aron Ra - Atheist.

I don't think Aron Ra is an Atheist, I just think he wants proof of a deity.

I wonder if these bones that they are dating were once packed in ice, would that preserve their age, does carbon 14 still decay while frozen?

You know ten years ago I never thought I would say this: but I tend to agree with Creationists/Intelligent Design a lot in spirit... excluding the Bible stuff and age of the world etc... (because the Bible was written by Man).

That is why Sheldrake is important, because he says that natural laws evolve just as we do. ;)

By the way notice the Apple are supporting both sides! ;)

Very smart. Also interesting logo... is it the Apple that Eve took a bite from? And is the Apple really a Mushroom?
