I am very excited after hearing this. Turns out, instead of needing to leave the country to see Mother Ayahuasca, she is coming to us.

Oklevueha Native American Church of Ayahuasca Healings -- Elbe, Washington (https://ayahuascahealings.com/)

From their website:

Welcome to the Ayahuasca Healings Family!

We stand for Truth, for Love, for Healing… for the Happiness and Freedom of us all!

For The Great Awakening and Revolution of the Heart unfolding through this movement, through the guidance of Mother Ayahuasca, and bringing it into the hearts, minds, and souls of the people who need it the most… we are just so excited to legally, publically and openly be bringing Ayahuasca to America!

Kiorionis, is it really legal?

That is what they're saying, but I haven't done much investigating on it yet.
I'm sure more news will follow.

It seems legal to me. There are multiple pages here detailing the legality (https://ayahuascahealings.com/ayahuasca-church-in-usa-how-are-we-legal/) (https://ayahuascahealings.com/sacrament-and-ceremony/honor-and-credence/) (https://ayahuascahealings.com/legality/legal-rights/). I didn't read it all, but it seems like you either have the right through the protection of their church, or you may have to somehow become yourself affiliated with the church. I've wanted to do this for a while and have been in contact with some friends who have participated in legal ceremonies in the US under the guidance of experienced shaman. This is the first I've heard of an offer like this available online though.

No, the person leading the ceremony was not from the United States nor American from what I gathered. I feel like this person who shared the experience had done it somewhere around 3 years ago as well. So, it's been legal in some sense for at least that long. He was going to refer me to the group performing the ceremonies as they only took on new people by reference. Not like the website openly advertising for this church.
