Nice documentary by Jan Kounen whom I talked with for the podcast (http://www.naturalbornalchemist.com/episodes/2016/9/4/episode-86-jan-kounen) last weekend in Romania.

That's cool. After a quick wiki he sounds like a really interesting guy. Would love to hear the story of how you ended up meeting him, and some of your conversations. Might have to try and find some of his french films with subtitles, especially like the look of 'Blueberry: l'experience secrete'.

I suppose it all makes sense to some degree. The film is pretty trippy as it is. I can agree that 'stealth' and 'tactics' can have a greater effect than finger pointing. I suppose it made the film 'The Abyss' feel a bit more special to me that I had the VHS copy with 'the secret parts' in it.

Blueberry is in English. He will appear on the podcast (http://www.naturalbornalchemist.com) in a couple of weeks. ;) He also made this doc (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNxSDc-Pffc) that you can see on YouTube.

Blueberry is easier to find under the title, "Renegade"

Watch it here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6O4zJxd2MJ0)

If you don't watch the whole film, you should watch from 1:20:00

Thanks Ghislain. I will definitely give it watch over the weekend. I totally want to watch the whole thing. I must confess I am a bit of a cinephile. As much as I would love to completely admonish and preach the evils of the TV. Sci-fi, dystopia, and existential films are my guilty pleasure.

An amazing movie, even outside of the visual parts of it and the icaros.

The way they show how protagonist / antagonist / lovers are intertwined. That the projected nemesis is born out of the actions of the protagonist, and the cleansing of that complication leads to the unraveling of the understanding of true self mastery in the end, when he understands the power of creation of his own emotions and perceptions.

Its a phenomenal movie on many levels.

Thanks dev! I've listened to a bunch of your podcasts. Actually before today, I never met anyone (online or otherwise) who had seen the movie.
