Hello brothers and sisters.

My name is Mihai, the Romanian equivalent for Michael, I m 31 years old and I live in Bucharest, Romania.
My proffesion is related to old books, but I am also an independent scholar of magic, specialising in manuscripts, seals and diagrams. My interest in alchemy is not recent, I ve had it for as long as I can remember, but only now I am able to afford a space and implements to put my interpretations and theories to practice.

I have edited and adnotated the Romanian translation of Paracelsus Archidoxes and have a few more planned.

I am in no way affiliated to any society, alchemical, initiatic or otherwise.

My special interest in practical alchemy is the antimony method of course and Caro s Cinnabar method, which brought me here.

Thank you for having me, and if its not frowned upon I will add my alchemical blog to my posts.

Greetings, Prince Michael of Vallachia!

Why 'of course', if I may ask?

if it's not frowned upon I will add my alchemical blog

Adding a blog is most certainly not frowned upon! (in and of itself) :)

Caro s Cinnabar method

The apostrophe key on your keyboard may be malfunctioning :)

Prince? I d wish!
Actually no, they have no privacy..

Thank you for the welcome my friend, and yes, i will post my blog once I edit a few images.

The apostrophe is on English keyboards, I usually write on my Romanian keyboard, but switching those around 3 times in 10 minutes back and forth gets pretty tiresome. I l have to beg for your kind understanding ad bypass this small problem and in exchange I ll take the funny names like a man :D How does that that sound?

All in good spirits! No more funny names either! It was just for the greeting's sake... Breaking the ice, so to speak :)

Who has no privacy?

Princes have no privacy :)) I think. UHm, I ll try to contain my jokes, because i tend to go all out when it comes to humor.

Anyways, I ll get cracking, study the forum and think of something worthy to post.

Welcome!

I'm a bit Romanian too (1/8 Romanian if I'm not wrong)... and I'm also into publishing books!

So welcome to the forum!

[I'm in touch with a few remarkable artists from Romania... Maybe you know them. Vaenus Obscura is a damn genius: http://salonarcano.com.ar/galeria/contenidos/plastica/venus_obscura/index2.html )

Hey Zoas, nice to hear you re part Romanian, I won t hold it against you! :D

I am a graphic artist and a bookbinder as well and will be starting a limited edition genuine leather publishing house, but I wouldn t like to be considered a spammer so I kept thatoutside my intro.

After making 25 posts, you can create a personal signature line where you can also insert a link to your publishing house (if you so wish) and it will miraculously not be considered spam :)

Oh! I'm mostly a mix of Slavic and Nordic... with 1/8 Romanian, but that's the part I know less about my ancestors. Though the few Romanians I know are amazing persons!!!
Vaenus is male, not female... but still very talented. I mentioned him because I feel that his art may interest you (100% based on magical seals and diagrams).

I'm too vegetarian as to publish in real leather, but I'd love to know about your projects... who knows, we may end up exchanging useful things (probably not translations, but maybe things like seals and diagrams in good resolution!!!).

Hmmm... since all the publishers I know are bibliophiles, then I already like you! :)

When I die I would love to be transformed into a book, as long as it is not Donald Trump's biography.

When I die I would love to be transformed into a book, as long as it is not Donald Trump's biography.

Completely off topic, but last friday a friend bought a box of used books (probably the family of someone who died selling his books in boxes).... 90% of them about Alchemy and then some weird *surprises*... among those *suprises*, Donald Trump's biography.

The only interesting thing of that book was the "good reviews" in the back cover and WHO did them:

(the photo of the book that my friend got in that box)

Would these people give his book the same review nowadays?

(I've made the image link to something that discloses my opinion on this person known as "Trump").

Hahaaa, now that s funny!

Yes, I will put it up, but my blog is mainly about alchemical emblems, high quality scanned stuff, for free use of any who would like them and need them. And also a few experiments. I m on my way to buy a few kg of raw antimony from Transylvania, the very last of the stuff, and the very thing Valentinus recommends :D

Anyways, thank you all for the wonderful welcome, I hope I won t be a dissapointment :D

Even though it might seem that I m hogging topics in which I can easily boost my post numbers, please be assured that is not the case, and I don t pay attention to that at all. I ll try to keep my posts informative, not inquisitive, and in the meanwhile, I m studying all the threads I need and filtering in the info. I was a moderator on another forum and nothing was more annoying then newbies coming in making new topics of things already discussed 154335 times over before them. I raping that search button :D
