One of our members have died... m1thr0s (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/member.php?199-m1thr0s).

m1, as he was also called, was a part of this forum way back in 2007 when we had an older ad-infected free forum platform. You can read his own introduction here (http://alchemy-forums.forumotion.com/t136-fashionably-late).

He never participated in this current board, although he registered.

For me his main contribution was his concept of Mutational Alchemy (http://abrahadabra.com/mutational-alchemy/). He also used to have a forum called Abrahadabra Forums that I was a moderator on where I learned the ropes so to speak. I would not say that without m1 and his forum this forum would not have happened (honestly I can't recall since it was so long ago), but I can't deny that he had at least something to do with it in some way.

Although I am aware that 99.99 % of the people currently active here are unaware of this guy (perhaps), I still felt it was worth mentioning as he is directly, or indirectly, somewhat a part of the annals of Alchemy Forums.

I wish his wife and any friends and family all the best.

As m1 used to say: perseverance furthers

He also used to have a forum called Abrahadabra Forums.

That forum is apparently still active.

I found a post there by Izi Ningishzidda (from 3 months ago), that I am quoting HERE (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/showthread.php?5068-I-m-in-the-Illuminati-and-what&p=46751#post46751), because it seems relevant to the topic being discussed.

From a post (http://alchemy-forums.forumotion.com/t136-fashionably-late#756) by m1thr0s in his Introduction Thread:

Why the hell do we need *physical alchemy* now that the science of chemistry is well established?

And from one of his last posts (http://abrahadabra.com/passing-the-torch/) before passing:

Over the past 18 months I have been hospitalized not less than 4 times with end-stage emphysema, a progressive disease that no one walks away from once it has reached that degree of severity. It’s hard to predict how much time I am left with… [...] I didn’t know it when I got started on this path that I would probably need about 300 years and a certain amount of funding to bring all of this to fruition – more time than I have to spend and no financing of any kind.

Maybe he shouldn't have been so dismissive of *physical alchemy*... It might have held solutions that (medical) chemistry clearly was not able to offer...

Also, from the same post:

There is only one Magister Ouroboros incarnated at any time so that while I live that office remains with me but will pass to her in due course as well once I have gone.

It seems not many of us are immune to bathing in the grand titles we sometimes like to give ourselves... There will be other lives to live...

PS: All this is not intended to "speak ill of the dead", but to point out (and perhaps even learn a lesson from) how we often tend to rigidly and dogmatically dismiss concepts and applications which may be of great assistance and support to us and our paths.

I have personally witnessed someone with end-stage lung cancer go in complete remission and ultimately make a full recovery with an easy-to-prepare Oil that is not even 'alchemical' in the classical definition of the term...

Rest In Peace

No that is not the same forum (http://abrahadabra.freeforums.net/thread/12/welcome-abrahadabra-forums-2) (even if they use the same name). That is a very different forum. Izi used to be a member here also. She is m1's wife.

That may well be, but m1 was not exactly a young man and at a certain point there is nothing that can save you... when you got to go, you got to go. Time is up. Alas.

I haven't kept in contact with m1 for the last 7-8 years or so, and have not looked at the reincarnated Abrahadabra Forums at all since the first one got whacked... but when I knew him (and we spoke many times a week back then - I was even a moderator towards the end) I never got the impression that he was a "grand title" kind of guy. I never felt he "talked down" to me, even if I back then probably deserved that treatment. LOL.

I did have some scuffles with his wife Izi, but she has a very fiery spirit and I have no hard feelings. I think I annoyed her on more than one occasion. LOL. And if she happens to stumble upon this thread for some reason I hope all is well with her and her family and friends.

63 is not considered 'old' nowadays... But this (again) brings forward the recurring debate/dillema whether there is choice in that matter or is the time of our passing 'predestined'...

One of the more challenging aspects of my shamanic work (so far) has been realizing that nothing can be done and "it's time to go". The 'job' of the shaman, in such instances, is to make the person comfortable with the transition. I have only assisted 3 or 4 people with this in my life so far, and it has always been extremely emotional. In one instance, I even taught the person who was about to leave this plane how to go OOB - and he succeeded, right from his hospital bed. His experience of consciously leaving his body (and returning) had a tremendous impact on his peace of mind and subsequent peaceful transition. He practiced OBE at the hospital during his last weeks, and, when close to the end, he was almost excited to move on and discover what's next for him.

I cannot be certain, but I know m1 was very focused on the Body of Light so perhaps he had such skills.

One thing I've followed over the years though is their creation of an original Tarot deck which is pretty nice. See it here (http://abrahadabra.com/mutational-alchemy-tarot-book/).
