View Full Version : Cheap Glass Globes

The glass globes from "Star" vinegar which you find in the
grocery store are quite resistant.
In water baths, they don't crack even if you add cool water to
boiling. And they endure a sand heat over 300 C - electrical
stove turned all the way up.

They're just a couple dollars and you can use the vinegar for
many works as well, and they're shaped just like chemist's globes,
only thicker glass. They come in three sizes.
You just have to find matching corks.

least here in the NW.
