This is a Phoenix-thread (http://forum.alchemyforums.com/showthread.php?t=7) from the old site (http://alchemy-forums.forumotion.com/forum.htm).

Something sharp, soulful and moronic.

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h18/deviadah/other/c-1.jpg
I started to draw it on an airplane.. just so I could forget the pain in my ears.

Relieve the world... Pull the world out from the bubbel and aim it towards the golden light!!!

This was a school project. The mission was to do something between life and death.
Hey there,
these images are great. You draw in a very alchemical way...

You should tell us more what is behind these?

Intuition or well-planned ideas?
Thank you!

I don't plan... the pictures just jumps up in my head... I just draw what I feel for for the moment... and some times a friend gives me 3 words... and then I just draw it in my way...

I painted this on one of the days I really hated my job.
http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h18/deviadah/other/d-1.jpg

And this was when I sat in a car driving through Arizona.

I painted this on one of the days I really hated my job.
You should have hated your job more often... this one is really good I think. Very yin-yang or microcosm and macrocosm.

I see a lot of the Tree of Life (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tree_of_life) in your drawings/paintings!
It is the line you can take to be gold, just follow it!

Trees are rooted although spiritual. Free, yet stuck in the ground.

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h18/deviadah/GetAttachmentaspx.jpg

I just drew this a few hours ago!

There are seven blocks on each side, and in the distance a glorious sunset... you figure it out!

Although not directly alchemical, I'm wondering if perhaps you've ever picked up any of the graphic novel series called The Maxx by Sam Kieth? This female figure in light of sun and presence of flora reminds me of his own somewhat differently-proportioned figures. The themes are all very magical as well, if not overtly stated so.

No... I have never picked up on any of his graphic novel series!

But now I will :)

Vitamin C.
FANTASTIC!

Absolutely great art work.

I just made it...

I was thinking that people are so stuck in what they read that they forget to think for themselves...

FANTASTIC!

Absolutely great art work.

Thank you very much
I like your style of work - you have definite talent.

Oh cool Sleeveless, when I saw the orange one I thought immediately of this old alchemy image I picked up a few months ago:

[link broken]
I truly enjoy the image of the glowing sphere between the two books, as true enlightenment lies in the spaces between the sources of knowledge, rather than within the source itself! Your ability to create true symbols is absolutely fascinating!
Yeah, it is very good....

The Tree of Life is there without a doubt!

Thank you, thank you!!!

I'm going to paint the book one bigger with some color... I will post it when it is ready... but I think it going to take a while...
Nice...

I will be looking forward to that!

Your newest works is GREAT! I'm very impressed...

Oh, one more thing, do you use acrylics for your painting? They look like acrylic paintings to me, especially the color.

Have you ever tried oil painting? I mainly work on oil paintings, but they're nowhere near as good as your work!

Yes I use acrylics... I like it because it dries fast... and it's easy to clean from my fingers

And yes I have painted with oil too... it is nice when you mix the colors, you can get such good shadows and it looks more alive!

You should show us some paintings of yours!!! Just if you want to... I'd like to!!

Heh, sadly MOST of my work is unfinished, but I will try to gather a few of my finished paintings and snap pictures of them when I can. I feel inspired at the moment, and I might work on something tonight.

Make sure there is some form of alchemical subtext or I'll smash your face in!
My favorite is the seventh on the second page, but thanks ofr all of the great work, magnificent and inspiring.

And this was when I sat in a car driving through Arizona.

This is very attractive and something that could be incorporated as a focal or background point in other works I think. Not too themed, very flexible piece.
im an artist too but my lines are just too fixed... not like yours, like deviadah said u paint/draw in a very alchemical way and i can feel some energy in it.
i met a guy one day that make paints on the streets and he draw piramids and planets in the same paint...it was very alchemical allthought he i guess dont make idea of what is alchemyst

sorry if i spelled any english work wrong (im not american and ima an 13 years old kid=3)

Oh oh oh, your latest painting is very nice! I do some painting myself. Looks like you're using acrylics. I mostly work with oils, but acrylics are great. I love their fast drying time, and their "brighter" colors.

Very inspiring. I draw a bit. I'll see if I can produce something. :)

Any more you've been working on lately?

Seeds: Very dendritic, neuronal, energetic!
Ears: Shockingly familiar 'place,' perhaps the Place that begins with a Point, becomes a Sound, and the Sound becomes Light.
Trees: Earthy and neuronal at the same time, Macro-Micro. Nice.
Personal-Impersonal-Personal-Impersonal...

Just my immediate impressions. All nicely done! :)

This is one that my father found while he was cleaning the house... I thought that I had painted it over...
I made it 10 years ago, I was just trying out my new oil pens and it ended up like this.

Yes, and the colors look better in reality... the gold and silver does not really stand out so good in this picture.

Is it oil or acrylic?

I take the liberty of answering: acrylic.

This is not only extremely beautiful, but also LOADED with Alchemical /Hermetical symbolism.

I don't even know if it's purely intuitive (direct connection) or if you are doing it consciously...

Can anyone else see the strong symbolism in those images?

I can already see Zoas23 making a new expo :)

Ghislain

It fits so well with what I feel

From the One ‘strands’, for want of a better word, exude into each of us and you can feel it when
you close off your monkey mind chatter. I believe this is what we call intuition ... a sort of knowing
that does not originate in the mind. We are like complex nerve endings of a single entity.
Each person’s experience is contained and kept like a memory within the One
When one raises Kundalini it connects with the strand and one feels the bliss; a sort of euphoria

Thanks Sleeveless...a beautiful image.

Yes, and the colors look better in reality.

Doesn't that seem to be the case always, eh? 'Reproduction' [photo version] doesn't seem to add up.

I take the liberty of answering: acrylic.

That's my preference as well.

Sleeveless!
I do organize in Buenos Aires (Argentina) a non-for-profit Art Gallery that is focused on Hermeticism and Art (or the connection betweeen Hermeticism and Art).
I am creating some virtual galleries for different artists... the point is to make them more accesible to the Spanish-speaking world:

http://www.salonarcano.com.ar/contact.html#work3 (please not that all the galleries have an English version tag on top).

The works there can be for sale or not (we do not charge at all for sales), they don't need to be exclusive of the website and the copyright remains with you.

Are you interested? If so, please write to zoas23@yahoo.com.ar and I'll explain you all the other details, but it's mostly very easy.

the little dragon/river creature looking into the ?cauldron? is cute :o

have you anything new to share?

Awani
01-31-2014, 11:18 AM
Regarding the little dragon: ten years later she drank ayahuasca and a little dragon came out of her. This painting was a vision of the future IMO. The brew is made in a cauldron, the environment is the rainforest and the tree in the painting is clearly a mother tree etc etc.
