It's not WHAT you ask, it's HOW you ask it.

How likely is anyone to reply to questions that are asked with such an inquisitive, condescending and entitled tone? Especially when your pics of glass stoppers are classified "top secret" and you feel "uneasy" to share anything of your own work?

Claiming "it's not worthwhile" is not a excuse not to share. Sharing = dialog. But you don't do "dialog".

I've been sharing stuff here for over 9 years, including my earliest works that were not even remotely "worthwhile", but merely my early attempts at various elixirs/medicines/volatilization experiments/extractions of principles in less 'philosophical' ways, etc, etc... This learning curve was a great ride and still is. My failures were the greatest teachers!

    More than you "think".

    On a more general note
(not directed at Schmuldvitch) - it is the easiest thing in the world to mock and ridicule things we don't understand or haven't experienced ourselves, whether we do it via a mocking meme or by calling things anything from "uncorroborated" to "Santa Claus". We just start throwing our religion around, every time our own personal "antichrist" pops up in a discussion

    Another point:
Recently, True Initiate posted an image taken by a friend of mine, which he somehow got off one of my websites. Some of the reactions to seeing that device were of a mocking and ridiculing nature. It almost seems like posting about actual lab-work is "punished" here, but speculations and theoretical (UN-applied) knowledge are rewarded. And when someone (rarely) posts something truly spectacular (those pics are long gone), the reactions are often of a trolling, agitating, instigating and argumentative nature.

But it may be relevant to others! Especially if you keep asking them about their "worthwhiles"... This sounds like a very egotistical and 'entitled' approach...

The more we treat this place like a "dating site" for alchemists and less like a "mining ground" for "something worthwhile", the more likely we are going to "find the others" and encounter opportunities of genuine and valuable sharing. I've been around here long enough to understand this by now.

On a regular "dating" site/app, would you ever ask someone: "Do you have anything worthwhile to show? I won't show you mine, I just want to see yours." ??? It's not THAT different...

In other words, you're treating a dating site as if it was a porn site. LOL

Interesting question. Ive worked out that there are roughly <3000 interested "alchemists" on the internet. (Not many).

    Many are silent.

Some speak who have knowledge and they do so very carefully.

Then there is me; a strange anomaly. My SM work will begin in earnest next month. So....

Put it this way.... only 144000 people are granted the stone. Full stop. No ifs or buts in (IMcorrectO)

There are 12 pearl gates to the new city of Jerusalem Zion. 12000 from each "tribe"(starsign).

And again Schuldvich; while there is a message in what ive said..... there is a hell of a lot deeper things spoken of in my words.... but of course, i have no doubt that your superior analytical abilitys will easily see through my alegory. (This is me being sarcastic!! )
If at first you don't succeed....

I got here two years ago with an aweful lot of dogma filtering my views.

For instance; i thought it was the general standard behaviour and attribute of all alchemists to heal and better humanity. What a fool I was!!!

Another poor assumption on my part; i thought i knew what alchemy was. WRONG AGAIN!

And even though i have finally found all i was looking for (become a self sufficient learner of the art) i look at us as a group and i think "well, if this was were i expected to find the greatest hope of humanity; humanity is fucked!!

This place could do so much good; the only issue is, that the vast majority arnt really interested in doing much good. So that leaves me in a place of shutting down my sharing; since ive worked so hard; a deep extreme obsession that cost me everything; and i dont intend to pass it on to people who are genuinely as arrogant as i pretend to be

Making The Stone isnt worthwhile. Its the lives you save as a result that make the absolute mind fuck required, worthwhile.

I may be this... or that... but my love will find me.success in Wisdom; well before any other quality such as organization, or well constructed quotes ever will.

This stuff might no mean much to everyone; but to some of us its what we live and breathe and hope in; simultaneously as we hope fo a better world.

This isnt an old text; or a story book about a wizard. Its a chance to help people who cant help themselves.
If at first you don't succeed....

You are NOT an "anomaly". You're just a kid with ideals, big dreams and an even bigger mouth, almost the same way I was around your age, only my grammar was better

In you own unique way, you are just as amazing AND as fucked up as everyone else.

As much as we all want to feel "special", we're not. Not any more than anyone else. It's what we do with our own version of "normal" that counts.

So what? Perhaps wait until your theories pass (or fail) the Test of Fire before you set such great expectations?

Please protect yourself from disappointment and/or make yourself immune to it. You may need this.

Additional note: Whenever someone is successful or another step closer to completing The Great Work, my advice is to be happy for them, and never be jealous. It's the best way forward.

And beware of outrageous/extravagant attention-seeking claims about Alchemy, especially on the Internet, and especially your own

No one is forcing you to stay with this horrible "group".

That's a tragedy. Will you just leave us helpless like that, the horrible bunch that we are, just a few steps away from giving us the whole secret from beginning to end? Tragic.

Start by helping the Man in the Mirror.

Just like on a plane, they tell you to first put on YOUR oxygen mask, because if you can't breathe, you can't help anyone else put on theirs.

I think you’re not giving much credit to the members here . You’d be surprised at what people get up to in real life, both in large and small ways (I find the small ways are more helpful), as well as in ways we’re not even aware of, away from the virtual construction that is AF.

Also, the greatest hope for humanity has always been the children and future generations, not in an online message board.

And people like Elon Musk who want to send electric cars to Mars lol
Art is Nature in the flask; Nature is a vial thing.

Not really. Whatever you think, that is what it is.

Some people think U2 is the greatest band in the world, I think they stink. In my world... guess what... they stink.

Don't worry about it too much, and remember BE the change... TAKE the change... don't REQUEST it.

No humanity is not fucked, cynicism is easier than optimism.

Secrecy has always been paramount to alchemy, its to keep it out of the hands of nefarious people.
Whether we truly believe in the Philosophers stone or not there are individuals who will go to extreme lengths to pursue it and get their hands on it.
    The secrecy is pragmatic.
This forum does a lot of good, it opens the door to other budding alchemists, it connects alchemists to each other and provides opportunity for collaboration.
Humans have an in built urge to share and alchemists have lamented that they could not pass their secrets on openly,
its torn alchemists up inside that they cannot publicly help their fellow man, but they kept the secrecy because they knew exposing alchemical secrets to the world
would put in danger a lot of their other brothers and sisters in the art.

And people like Elon Musk who want to send electric cars to Mars lol
Elon musk is about as useful as a cock flavoured lollipop
    my 2 cents anyway

That's about as "valid" as saying "whatever you think geology is, that's what it is." Hmm, nope. The word denotes a specific series of tenets based on some observable empirical facts. Same with alchemy. It is not so open to interpretation and each person's subjective believes or tastes as the example you give of liking or not liking a specific band.

I was waiting for you to say this.

Also we are talking about taste, opinion and ideas... learn to read.

If you still feel the need to reply to this post, and show what I now just stated is also wrong, then you are totally lost up your own ass.

That explains why I feel out of place... married and all. However I agree with all of your points.
