    Mod Post

In reply to the posting of the 'Androgynous' video, I added more related videos and some side comments that triggered an off-topic spin.

The spin-off discussion can be continued here: Diversity In Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity.

Hmm... How am I feeling these days... I think these few following songs sum it up pretty well, generally speaking

    One Republic - Counting Stars

    And the Lyrics Version:

    Also:

R.E.M - Losing My Religion (and the Lyrics Version)

As well as Freddie (w/Queen), caught on camera using his 'equipment' in 'unintended ways'... LOL...

    And on a similar note:

    (Lyrics HERE)

And on a more general note (for me):

"And the First One now will later be Last"

Now a very special dedication from Mr. Mercury :

And finally (dedicated to... everyone to whom it may apply ):

    Yeah...

Nice, I like several of those Andro...

If you don't like "techno" you might enjoy this version instead:

Donít let the delusion of reality confuse you regarding the reality of the illusion.

This is my favorite video for a while... i watch it like daily and each time is a higher circulation than before,
my days keep getting better and better, more and more... the video is an initiation in circulation.
Check it out - i may have already posted this. But it's amazing! The part where I am falling is my favorite.
I was watching Point Break yesyerday and loved the part where they are sky diving... can you imagine falling for five minutes?
Falling long enough to not be afraid? to enjoy it?! It's a good feeling.

Anyway, what's obvious to me in the video, at first she isn't strong/brave enough to face her fears/"wolves" until
she ventures through water and air and meets the "invisible" spirit which is them sacrificed to the wolves only
to make her stronger for it and able to face/chase her fears away.

    A bit of Jay Brannan:

    From 'Goddamned':
"Rip your bigot roots up from the earth and salt the goddamned ground"

    And a sweet cover:

    I love Simon & Garfunkle...especially that track

    Tomorrow Never Knows

Turn off your mind relax and float down stream
It is not dying, it is not dying

Lay down all thoughts, surrender to the void,
It is shining, it is shining.

Yet you may see the meaning of within
It is being, it is being

Love is all and love is everyone
It is knowing, it is knowing

And ignorance and hate mourn the dead
It is believing, it is believing

But listen to the colour of your dreams
It is not leaving, it is not leaving

So play the game "Existence" to the end
Of the beginning, of the beginning

Elvis - If I Can Dream

Elvis really outdid himself with this one... The closest thing he ever came to a 'protest song' performance of sorts...
And I love how he strains his voice beyond his usual smoothness... Recorded 2 months after M.L. Kings assassination...
