    Sun and Mirror Distillation

    Friedrich Böttger ...1682-1719,

he used concave mirrors to lead the sunlight on his works. This way he receive
    a strong heat.

Still am not sure! Can I put direct sunlight on all, or should I try it
    only with solar plants?

I usually use the sun to extract the sulphur from my plant works. (using rain/snow as my mercury)
Other times i use a candle flame. (but usually thats cause its rainy and thus i cant use the sun)

Ive never had any bad from it, but i think its a good question.

One fatal tree there stands of knowledge called, forbidden them to taste. Knowledge forbidden? Suspicious. Reasonless. And why should their Lord envy them that? Can it be sin to know? Can it be death? And do they stand by ignorance, is that their happy state, the proof of their obedience and their faith?

Thats what I thought about also. All healing tinctures have to be kept in the dark,
so I cover them now with a piece of cloth.

It would be interesting to use the sun in all stages and really load it with solar energy.
I mean besides the sulphur extraction, you could use a magnifying lens for
the calcination. I've calcined antimony with a lens before. It's fun. Although time-consuming.

The UV rays of the sun are well documented to decompose essential oils.
