LOL. Smoking "cigarettes" is very bad... and although I am against "bans" in general I do understand why society wants to stop people from smoking. At the end of the day "dead citizens" is bad business, because the business is taxes. No one wants dead slaves, right?

Tobacco in itself is not a bad thing. As with most things the problem is "how" people use it. Natural tobacco used in shamanic ways has healing properties... tobacco smoked 24/7 with chemicals and paper added is not healthy. Same with cannabis and any other drug.

As Paracelsus said: "Difference between medicine and poison is dosage."

Donít let the delusion of reality confuse you regarding the reality of the illusion.

Smoking rates are decreasing worldwide, while cancer rates are increasing. Hmm...

I'm not saying it's "healthy". Heck, most foods labeled as "Health Foods" aren't "healthy"

What the article above is suggesting is that there may be another "agenda" behind those world wide smoking bans...

    It's all about spin...
"Global Warming" sounded bad, so it got changed to "Climate Change".

Want to lobby & get rid of inheritance tax for the super rich? No problem! Re-brand it as "Death Tax"... That's how you get the public to rally...

The smoking statistics don't support the death toll claims? Change the focus of the narrative.

Surprisingly, fewer than 10 percent of lifelong smokers will get lung cancer.

Fewer yet will contract the long list of other cancers, such as throat or mouth cancers.

In the game of risk, you're more likely to have a condom break than to get cancer from smoking.

That the majority of smokers beat cancer doesn't make for effective anti-smoking campaigning.

So the statistics are turned around: Smoking accounts for 30 percent of all cancer deaths and 87 percent of lung cancer deaths; the risk of developing lung cancer is about 23 times higher in male smokers compared to non-smokers; smoking is associated with increased risk of at least 15 types of cancer; or that smoking causes millions of deaths worldwide.

What does this mean? To the happy and dedicated smoker, it means nothing. The Internet is rife with pro-smoking sites dismissing these kinds of facts. There are billions of people, the argument goes, and they have to die of something, even rare diseases.

It's possible that all those that quit once they found out are still prone to cancer. Also, all those exposed to second-hand smoke are prone to cancer.

Not necessarily. It was realized that "Global Warming" was an inaccurate term since some places in the World are warming up, while other places are actually cooling down. Some dry places are getting lots of rainfall, and some wet places are getting lots of drought. Some calm places are getting the worst hurricanes and tornadoes in their history, etc. Thus "Climate Change" is a far more accurate descriptor.

    That's for sure :-)

In addition to what Illen said there are even regions that benefit from climate change.

It's possible to grow potatoes at the coasts of greenland since a few years for example.

Most of the time the earth is supposed to exist, the poles were completly ice-free according to current state of knowledge.
