Best Texts - Most Charitable Texts

I'd like to start a new thread where we can post the titles and links(if possible) to what we consider to be the best and/or most charitable alchemical texts.

I'll start out with my favorites so far.

Rosie Crucian Secrets by John Dee - the secret fire is given quite openly and the initial matter is not hard to figure. Best to get the book. The texts available online are all missing the glossary, and the valuable footnotes.

Arcana Divina - a really wonderful text that is one of the most charitable that I have seen.

Compendium of Alchemical Processes - a very nice overview of a multitude of alchemical processes.

The Art of Distillation: by Dr. John French This has some very nice information. Very much worth a thorough read.

    hallo joshua,
nice idea. here's my alchemical top ten (texts to be read ad infinitum):

    - Recreations Hermetiques + Scholia, Anonymous
    - I.C.H., Des hermes trismegist
    - Limojon de St Didier, Hermes Devoilè
    - Cosmopolite 3 treatises + letters
    -Jean D'Espagnet Enchiridion physicae restituitae
    - Huginus à Barma Le reigne de saturn changè en siecle d'or
    - Crasellame, Lux obnubilata
    - Stephanus of Alexandria 9 lessons (I could read just 2 of them on an anthology by M Pereira, and I'm waiting for the integral traduction to be published in french
    - (pseudo)Lulle, Testament and vademecum
-Pierre Jean Fabre L'abrege des secrets chimiques (new entry)

Sorry for not putting links, but you can find most of these books on public digital libraries like the one in the link that josh provided in the other thread.

    with humility

Can you tell us where to buy the complete book with the footnotes.
    Thanks.

Hi good sir, this might be of interest to you: http://www.greylodge.org/occultrevie...ecrets_dee.pdf & http://www.rexresearch.com/alchemy2/dee.htm

As for a hardcopy version of this text I am not sure. Amazon might have one. Let me check! Here you go: http://www.amazon.com/Rosie-Crucian-...4488576&sr=8-1

Thanks for this! With this manuscript, Compass, and the approximately 300-400mb downloaded from archive.org, I have enough reading material to last me a few years... LOL

This is indeed a very generous manuscript, albeit perhaps only because I have been prepped for it by my previous reading. I can understand the reasons for the manipulations they have described, as well as applying it to the easier animal realm.

In the realm of charitable texts, aside from Compass of the Wise which is very charitable, Sendivogius (and son of Sendivogius) seems to be quite charitable, albeit read in the light of Lully and other people who emphasise the importance of the bound together bodies/binding force.
