It is very interesting and certainly brings SM in to the light of 'scientific examination'. Mind you it still doesn't do much to help the budding alchemist acquire SM which is always a huge disappointment, nevertheless, very informative and there are some useful information there such as which chemical processes work toward increasing the quantitative yield of SM.

I agree. His scientific observations/measurements correlate to some of the alchemical ideas which is helpful in reinforcing the concepts. The book (paper?) could have been shorter but that's just my personal observation

The translation is corrupt, especially at the part I marked above. In the original it says "Weltgeist", it should therefore not be "world of spirit", but rather "Spirit of the World", or "Spiritus Mundi".

Maybe he is going Hegelian and in that case your translation is ok, but Hesse was not really talking about the Spirit that this thread is discussing (i.e, the expression has a clear Hegelian connotation).

Its incredible how powerful the repeated bashing of "focus on principals rather than techniques" really is when one does begin to grasp the entire picture of SM manifestation.

After a huge mindblowing about 'portals' and 'gateways' i had a thought that i could even use external techniques to produce manifestation internally .

Then, spontaneously after that thought, i realised that the body is ALREADY doing it! Which leads me to believe that it could be enhanced by external technology, and assist in a bodies ability to absorb and conjoin with it.

I must say, for a snobby bloke that hardly ever talks to me, Andro has been a real God-send for my understanding of alchemy. The whole 'Hermetic Vision' thing is really starting to seep into my understanding too.

I am purchasing and building an anthanor atm to attempt the purist method of the Magnus Opus. It also turns out, that due to my wife deciding shes an empowered and free woman i have the oppertunity to try and perform the internal works simultaneously.

Any advice in regards to corresponding the two internal and external works together is gratefully welcomed. Some thoughts and questions i have on the topic ill put in another thread.

So my design uses a multitude of forces and creates a serious unbalancing of external factors that cannot help but be impressed upon whats in my 'no mans land'.

I may even sing a little tune to Daath.

At this stage there is still much to learn and meditate upon, but when the basic principals are well understood, and with a little Hermetic Vision, the entire SM synphany does indeed being to play around you and you can hear and feel her song all around you and she will teach you the still hidden mysteries by dwelling with her.

Should be a good experiment, i do believe im likely to succeed, ive basically been perfecting the theory of my design for years now (based upon the principals) and i really dont have much of a choice to go into the mountains and live in the bush for a couple of months anyway, so this is pretty much the show from now on.

Wish me luck, and since i will most likely be coming back very excited, maybe some guidance from those in the know, in regards to what 'should' and 'shouldn't' be posted, since these concepts are still quite foreign to me and i dont understand them.

Something I still wonder about SM is concerning the fixation of it. Also, what would happen if you allowed it to freeze, and then gave it some breathe and sealed it again... would this ruin it or produce a positive effect?

Any thoughts?

Hi Agni,
I also got 2 teaspoons of water when i exposed my 100ml flask (vaccummed) in Sun for several days.
But when i create my sun and moon i did not get anything only few white powder dots are formed in flask ( i joined two flasks and placed one in cold soil and other in constant heat of halogen bulb).

Please guide me further.
