I'm thinking of mixing ammonia and TSP (trisodium phosphate)
for archemical purposes. Supposedly this will make NaOH
and triammonium phosphate.
I didn't find much about this on the web. I know it will be a strong alkali
and not to get it on skin and breathe it - nose, eyes, throat, skin, ingestion...
But otherwise is there anything to worry about? I don't think it will explode
or anything. Does anyone know of any reason why I shouldn't mix these and
isolate the TAP?
