Soul Ages according to the Michael Teachings

    Hi,

has anybody heard of the concept of soul ages, i.e., referring to the number of reincarnations a soul has accomplished and therefore experiences made.

The Michael Teachings is supposedly channeled information from an entity of 1050 collective souls who have completed their incarnations on earth.

    1. Infant souls - focus on survival, "me" or "others", simple life, primitive, mystical

    Motto: Let's not do it.

    2. Baby souls - religious fundamentalism, dogmas, family oriented, law and order, patriotic, focus on culture, ethnicity and traditions, only "right or wrong", rigid, "we the society" or "the others"

Motto: Do it right or don't do it at all.

    3. Young souls - success oriented, competitive, independent, profit-oriented, materialistic, image and reputation, the ego

    Motto: Do it my way.

    4. Mature souls - Their experience of life is dramatic, emotional, can feel into others, emphatetic, self-aware

Motto: Do it anyplace but here.

    5. Old souls - Seek the larger perspective of life, "live and and let live", laid back, easy going, spiritually minded and sometimes lazy.

Motto: You do what you want and i'll do what i want.

I got the descriptions from http://www.michaelteachings.com

The soul ages are not the only topic on that site. There are descriptions of spiritual archetypes that embody who we are like server, artisan, warrior, priest, king, scholar and sage. And in general a lot more of channeling related topics.

I think the soul age attributes are pretty equivalent to the mental and characteristic attributes of a baby, child, teenager, mature person and old person, if you want to generalize. Not saying that the Michael entity must be a real thing, but i like the descriptions and the concept.

    What do you think?

I think the "channelling" part is complete bullshit and just his subconscious unraveling understanding that he then articulates onto paper, but that is beside the point...

His 5 stages of soul development resonates well with me, and I would certainly consider myself an "old soul" (even though I visually appear so incredibly young outwardly)

I thought at the beginning of the thread that you was refering to Michael Newton who has done an impressive job on these matters. If you find interesting the "Michael Teachings" then definately study the research of Michael Newton; it is by far better.
