    Autism

My wife has claimed for years that I have autism. So I did a few online tests and apparently (in the tests I did), a score of 28-32 is clear signs of autism... or a sort of pseudo-autism.

A score of 33 - 50 is autism, and 50 being Rain Man... sitting in a corner saying Pi backwards or something. LOL.

My score was 33 on repeated tests.

So yes, it seems like I am autistic... but at the lower end. Does explain a few things.

Apparently it seems that I was granted with some sort of intelligence, because according to what I have read it is this trait alone that makes someone with autism be able to live a fairly normal life (33 % of them). The rest, those with a bit lower IQ, require assistance. Not saying I am a genius, simply that I had enough brains to fake it till I make it.

Which testing site(s) did you use?

Can't recall now (few days ago). Tried a few, but simply googled autism test online and picked the ones that seemed the most serious.

I got this score, on one test I picked randomly:

Your score was 27 out of a possible 50.

Scores in the 26-32 range indicate some Autistic traits (Aspergers Syndrome).

On the site where Axis took the test, I scored 33

(that site leaves less space for "gray areas", since it's mainly yes/no based, with no "almost" options...)

I scored 32. But I don't think that test was as good as the one I did when I scored 33.

This was the one I used: https://psychology-tools.com/autism-spectrum-quotient/

More detailed and specific in the reply options and in the questions. But I did it once alone, and then once with my wife (she has known me well for 10 years)... in order to rule out any bias. The score was a bit higher when I did it with my wife, than when I did it alone... since I was a bit more kind to myself when doing it solo. LOL.
