Stumbled across this. The pictures alone explain much of the processes. This is a documentation of MANY of the procedures and experiments that we like to dabble with. All of them fully explained, illustrated, in plain language (though it is Russian, google translate will help if you can't follow the pictures).

These are not multiple pages of one process, but a library of documented experiments. Probably a treasure trove for the beginner. I'm thinking about downloading the whole site in case it tries to disappear on me, but not tonight. Too late already.
