Washing the crude precipitate with highly dilute HCL is a success. Currently decanting and drying and will wash with water 3x.

    UPDATE

I washed the powder with dilute HCL until it stopped reacting when I added more HCL.

The powder has now been reduced to 3-4g I will wash it with boiling water and see if I can get it to a white color, it is currently dark tan.

I get the feeling I am on the right track seeing as what started out as 3-4lb of various salts became reduced to 3-4g.

So after plenty of washing with both water and hcl I have reduced the powder down to about half a gram. Is the result gold?

Most likely not, but you could test it by melting it in a furnace to see if it solidifies into gold.

Just to clarify did I do the TEK wrong? Or did I just start with crap salt?

I would like to give ormus making another try in the near future now that I have the basics under my belt, but I figure its probably best to use real Dead Sea Salt for this.

I have a few questions about the initial basing and subsequent precipitation of the crude ormus.

    1. How important is the actual PH?

    2. Does m-state only drop out at 10.78 EXACTLY?

    3. What really is gilcrest precipitate, i know its heavy metals supposedly but which?

    4. Can gilcrest precipitate be washed out with acid?

    5. What did I end up with from my first try? I got something out of it but im not feeling too confident about it honestly.
