Healing clays of Eastern Oregon or Western Idaho

Hi everyone, got a question for our American brothers and sisters.

I was recently re-reading some of the material on subtle energies website and saw a reference to the healing clay found in Eastern Oregon and Western Idaho.
I'm assuming that it is probably the same healing clay discussed in the documentary "All the gold you can eat".

Does anyone know where exactly these healing clays can be found?
Is it possible to go and collect some for ourselves?
Or are there commercial companies already selling?
    If so...under which brand name/s?

Or has anyone heard anything at all about these healing clays which might like to add?

    Thanks.

Natural Montmorillonite Clay, also known as “living clay” or calcium montmorillonite?

I tried to find a map of clay deposited in those states, but came up empty handed.
