    Dreams

Dreaming is weird. One night can be paradise and the next can be hell. They can be so emotionally impressive but extremely hard to remember. Some say dreams are a window to the subconscious.

Is self analysis through dreams a viable path for exploring the subconscious?

Are there good methods for remembering dreams?

Is lucid dreaming a worthy subject to pursue?

Are astral projection and dreaming related?

A dream journal is definitly a great method for increasing the retention of dreams.

I'm not an expert however, from my experience, dreams, while not exactly the astral realm, a lucid dream can be used as a method of entering the astral realm.

If you become lucid in your dream, and co time to raise your vibration, trying to go to higher and higher vibratory places.

Eventually as you pass from one place to another, you will enter the astral realm. You can tell because the higher 'dream states' become a little heavenly, but when you enter the astral realm it becomes solidified and extremely vivid. And things become real again. You can drink water etc. And actually feel the water, when in a dream, the water will just be like air, no real feeling of thirst quenching.

Please correct me if anyone believes me to be wrong.
If at first you don't succeed....

Hello elixirmixer, thank you for your insights!

I've used a dream journal before, recently though, I've been forgetting the dreams as soon as I wake up. I can remember the last few seconds of the dream before I wake up but nothing else. My memory in waking life is pretty good. Are there are methods or herbs specifically for dream memory?

Lucid dreaming is something I've only experienced, once, as a child, by accident. I didn't realize what it was until I was older and stumbled upon the term. Since you take conscious control during a lucid dream, would it help or hinder the purpose of exploring the subconscious?

Astral projection is an interesting path too. Are there Alchemists who wrote about lucid dreaming and astral projection? Did they have different terms for these?

Any suggested books or videos would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello nav2010.

What is the correct way? How does one know their way is correct?

    Hi sol

Dream recall revolves around emotion. Vivid or lasting dreams do so because in them we had an emotional response.

If you can recall how the dream made you feel, your brain will start scouring for recent events, images that resonate with that feeling. If you just had a dream your brain will go back through that dream. Sometimes after awhile more will come back to you and you will be able to recall more of that dream.
