If we consider God in all, As Hermes teaches, then the question is very hot.

If a mineral like antimony is made of God-material (just to give it a name) then why do many antimony works only work at a gross level?

Maybe for us it is better to not see certain things, that some particular states, the true states of matter, be Sealed. In this view it would make sense that alchemy is sort of unlocking the locks of matter, to enter in the closed palace of the King.

Which is not a reguls: a small king. But the King of kings.

Or maybe the difference is just the matter from which alchemy starts, which in any case would give wonders.

Or maybe both is true, and you can get fabulous results any way .

As for the rosary, it could look as mentioned, like volcano magma, but also coal or any of the countless black minerals of the world.

Edit: actually rosaries are used mainly for 2 reasons.

First: in Christian environment, to count 10 Ave followed by 1 Pater.
Second: in India, for example, rosaries are used to keep focus on the short prayers which are repeated hundreds of times, and not let mind wander.

Some believe special powers attributed to them, but it's more a belief thing. In India people even counts prayers on the hand-palm....

You are very close but i couldn't find rosary made of the stone i had in mind so that was the closest looking rock i could find. The real ones have much more smoother surface.

This is a common interpretation, yes it is hard to find any information on original meaning on prayer beads but they are somehow connected to the heavenly realm almost like a mediator to the divine.

I just mention antimony as a random famous mineral. I could have mentioned marcasite or zinc, the sense of my statement will be exactly the same.

Rose+crucian groups have used talismans immersed in Telesma as good luck charms and the like. They also say that to practice Magia Divina you need to have entered realm of alchemy and adeptate. Maybe in this sense you are right, as the stones act as catalyzers for those kind of practices.

But common rosary, I never heard of such things.
Except in tantric texts, which are famous to be written in hermetic language, as well.

There is a old XVIII century book about magic where they used iron crocus toghether with "mercury" sealed inside of a hazelnut, and worn as necklace to bring luck and health.

These are the only such particular things I recall.

If we read the U in Betul as Greek it becomes Betyl Betel - House of God.

So the rock appears to become the house of God through this air. (R and air in French has same pronounce)
