In My Dreams I Meet Alchemists

Im not a expert in dreams, i just wanted to know if they are just my imagination, delusion or something more.

I know i was reading alchemical texts, but some information i was receiving in the dreams was not contained in what texts i was reading at that particular time.

I has stupid not to record in a notebook the dreams, but i was thinking its just my imagination...

What do you think?

I have kept a dream journal for a good 10 years now, and mostly have just been recording the alchemically themed dreams when they come around.

My opinion is that they are not just imaginary or fantastical, but very good lessons in alchemical theory. Through their contemplation I have changed my perspective towards the natural world in a "as within, so without" sort of way.



My comments about herbs and dreaming, I have had hits and misses with them:

Mugwort has given me some psychedelic dream experiences, but only about 3% of the time I take it.

Cannabis definitely inhibits my dreaming and dream recall as far as the common day/night cycle is concerned, but if I sit down and meditate and smoke cannabis it's much easier to have 'waking dreams' with the herb. Quite a few enlightening experiences with that, actually.

Salvia divinorum is said to be a good dreaming and divination herb as well, when used as a tincture. I haven't experimented with it too much, but it's on my list.

Haven't tried the African root or the calea zacatechichi.


One of the best ways to get very vivid dreams is to stop eating about 4 hours before you fall asleep (sometimes it takes 6 hours, or a days worth of fasting, sometimes longer). But there are other threads on the Forums about fasting and dreams.

Thank you Kiorionis, moust insightful. I will try not to eat before sleep some good 4 hours at first. This seems the most cheap solution and i can do it starting today.

Has any one have some success with IDoser? I heard its a app that can alter your brain waves to mimick as if you are using something like dmt or other such substances. But its all virtual, you just need headphones.

Hi all,

I whant to share one interesting dream i had last night.

If its not ok to post these, pls let me know, but i find this one interesting to share.

This dream is part of a larger adventure, but i remember only the very last part of if, and that one very fuzzy.

It was 2 alchemists, i was one of them. We were chased and followed i dont remember by who. But we were running, and finally we reached a city and managed to find a hotel.

We rented 2 rooms, but we stayed only in 1 together.

They were talking about some protocol.

So, as per the protocol, we rented 2 rooms and contacted the others(maybe a larger group or something) to come and help us.

Next in line to the protocol was to destroy the stone. Here was a small argument, my friend was reluctant to do it, he wanted to carry it as a powder, but finally the protocol won, and we destroyed it in the room, by solve et coagula procedure.

We were very scared, every knock on the door or footsteps outside were giving us cause for concern.

In one day my friend ordered 2 girls, but the protocol was very strict, no contact untill we received help.

And also the protocol was... no girls...at all. But my friend was young and new in this and staited, if he were to die or worse, at least to meet girls for once in his life.

I left the room, and go to the other room(also rented by us). Outside i saw a car with a brother, and quickly go to my friend to let him know.

As per the protocol we should not go together, and decided that he was to go first(he was more scared).

And as per the protocol, i was to wait for the next extraction in the second room.

And here i wake up.

I find it interesting to share, becouse they destroyed their stones to not let other ppl have them if captured.

Your dreams are not what it seems. The people/animals in your dreams can READ your MIND. They KNOW your INTENT.

Do I think, or do I know what I just said? I know. I've tested it several times during lucid dreams.

Now the dream I'm assuming, is orchestrated by the ONE who KNOWS you. The Higher Self perhaps? But let me end this with an authoritative assertion... Those dream characters know who you are, know what your intent is, and know what you're thinking.

When you lucid dream go up to any one and tell them to guess what you're thinking.

I was just thinking is a nice story to share. So many ppl are after the stone, but in my dream my characters destoyed it.
