If you have have red the books like Mystery of the Cathedrals from Fulcanelli you understand that alchemy is a priestly art veiled in symbols carved on the churches, traditions, customs... Without understanding the priestly art of making sacraments how can you understand alchemy which is the most sacred of all priestly sciences?
For example if an alchemists draws a burning candle below a flask does it mean we should take a ordinary candle to heat our matter in our flask? What does a little candle represent in christianity? Think of a christian song called "this little light of mine". Is it God's light just a flame of a candle?

Thank you for the clarification. I agree with you that it is a priestly art and can see now the reason for why you recommended me to read up on "The acts of the Council of Trent especially on the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church" Interesting that Catholic means "universal" as well. The candle represents the hidden light in men, the word, etc, the father indwelling in man.
"1*In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2*The same was in the beginning with God.
3*All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4*In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5*And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (Where the candle can easily be represented, causing darkness to flee once lit. "All obscurity will flee from you.")
6*There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7*The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8*He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9*That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10*He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11*He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12*But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13*Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (the spiritual light)
Oh praise God for sending Jesus Christ and his teachings.
That is great that you introduce that, True Initiate. Nice thread Jimmy Rig.
Also, for example, the "order" of the planets, or "heights" of the planets above the flat earth and the firmament (also very biblical) informed the influence of the correspondences amongst metals, for conversion / transmutation.
Paracelsus clearly teaches from this flat-earth model in his Catechism.
Q. What correspondence have the metals among themselves?
A. It is necessary for a proper comprehension of the nature of this correspondence to consider the position of the
planets, and to pay attention to Saturn, which is the highest of all, and then is succeeded by Jupiter, next by Mars,
the Sun, Venus, Mercury, and, lastly, by the Moon. It must be observed that the influential virtues of the planets do
not ascend but descend, and experience teaches us that Mars can be easily converted into Venus, not Venus into
Mars, which is of a lower sphere. So, also, Jupiter can be easily transmuted into Mercury, because Jupiter is superior
to Mercury, the one being second after the firmament, the other second above the earth, and Saturn is highest of all,
while the Moon is lowest. The Sun enters into all, but it is never ameliorated by its inferiors. It is clear that there is a
large correspondence between Saturn and the Moon, in the middle of which is the Sun; but to all these changes the
Philosopher should strive to administer the Sun.
I had to look up "amerliorated" ~ "to make better", all the planetery metals are made better by the gold but not reversed.
How to make the signature of gold have enough energy to transmit it to the other metals.. The fact that iron can be retrograded to gold, according to the level of correspondence is interesting to me. Iron oxide is red, mars is red, fermented PS is Red, sulphur is red, colloidal gold is red. There must be an affinity between gold and iron. hmm. (gold and blood also perhaps?) Gold is considered Solar, masculine, spiritual and spirit is in the blood. Urine is derived from blood (primarily plasma).
Well just the things that come to mind where ,written above. The reason for threads like these is to pull abstractions of thought together to see what connections can be made for it takes all kinds..
I wonder if an iron byproduct can be merged with gold in order to impart signatures to anything below gold in correspondence i.e (copper, mercury, silver) which are closer on the periodic table than iron is to gold.
The science part of this goes above my head but I have had this idea that some combination of iron and quartz would either produce gold or other platinum group metals OR would provide a crystalline product which is capable of enhancing some select other metals.
I also feel that certain salts merged with gold or silver, provide enough additional potential energy that these noble metals can impart their virtue or signature into other metals if the energy requirements are met. Perhaps in accordance with your correspondence table there is a reason why lead was used. (easier to jump lanes and abandon its innate signature)
TBH transmutation of metals is not super high on my priority list but I think its all inter related and I am sure this has applications beyond trans mutational lab work!
So much to read, so little time..
Thanks for your valuable input, everyone!
Perhaps, there is some interesting stories on the web about the great white brotherhood at mount hermon having a sort of giant alchemical furnace and it is speculated that the manna was produced by extremely high heat reducing metallic gold to the white powder. Obviously I cannot verify any of this. I wonder how metals would respond to focused sunlight at appropriate timings? All speculation here please keep this in mind.
Thanks for sharing Jimmy <3.
John 1:1-5
"In the beginning was the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
He was present originally with God.
All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.
And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it."
John 1:5
"His Life is the Light that shines through the darkness—and the darkness can never extinguish it."
"The Light shone where it was dark and the darkness did not stop the Light from shining."
Gospel of Thomas
33. Jesus said, "What you will hear in your ear, in the other ear proclaim from your rooftops.
After all, no one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, nor does one put it in a hidden place. Rather, one puts it on a lampstand so that all who come and go will see its light."
50. Jesus said, "If they say to you, 'Where have you come from?' say to them, 'We have come from the light, from the place where the light came into being by itself, established [itself], and appeared in their image.'
If they say to you, 'Is it you?' say, 'We are its children, and we are the chosen of the living Father.'
If they ask you, 'What is the evidence of your Father in you?' say to them, 'It is motion and rest.'"
50a Jesus said: If they ask you "Where are you from?" reply to them "We have come from the place where light is produced from itself. It came and revealed itself in their image."
50b. If they ask you "Are you it?" reply to them, "We are His sons. We are chosen ones of the living Father."
50c. If they ask you "What is the sign within you of your Father?" reply to them, "It is movement. It is rest."
(77) Jesus says:
"I am the light that is over all. I am the All.
The All came forth out of me. And to me the All has come."
"Split a piece of wood – I am there.
Lift the stone, and you will find me there."

Movement = kinetic
Rest = static
It is movement (kinetic ) it is rest ( static).
"Light is produced from itself"
There is only one infinite photon?
How does light ( photon ) propogate? Through reflection.
'It came and revealed itself in their image."
I wonder how it already knew your image before you met?
Who wants to dance? Movement and static. Water and fire.
