Noticed this at the beginning of some threads:
These are threads from the old messageboard, and since it is a shame to loose those threads we have re-posted them here.* There has been no editorial changes made other than fixing/replacing links, removing certain symbols and images where the code has been broken and minor layout changes to improve the reading. If I have removed any text it is only major off-topic stuff... and there are few instances of this but I have left a note in red just for the record. This is a Phoenix-thread from the old site.
The importance is that the information is intact and ready to be discussed further.
Why call them Phoenix-threads?
* Note that some members quoted in Phoenix-threads might not have registered on this site at all, or changed their name. The phoenix is a mythical sacred firebird in ancient mythologies mentioned in the Egyptian and later the Phoenician and the Greek Mythology.
A phoenix is a mythical bird with a tail of beautiful gold and red plumage (or purple and blue, by some sources). It has a 600-800 year life-cycle, near the end of which it builds itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. - source
